Title: Breakfast at Tiffanys
Author: Truman Capote
Genre: Fiction
Pages: 111 PB
Length of time to read: 3 hours

It's New York in the 1940s, where the martinis flow through cocktail-hour to breakfast at Tiffany's. And nice girls don't - except, of course, Holly Golightly. Pursued by Mafia gangsters and playboy millionaires, Holly is a fragile eyeful of tawny hair and turned up nose, a heart-breaker, a perplexer, a traveller, a tease. She is apparently top banana in the shock department, and one of the shining stars of American fiction.

It is one of the books on my 100 Book List.

I enjoyed it, I like his writing style. He wrote like I do so it was easy for me to get sucked in. I didn’t like it as well I as did some of his short stories but it was a good read and I am glad I can say that I have now read it J

I'm glad you liked it. I just read it myself for my list and I loved it. I hadn't read any other Capote before, but now I will have to explore some of his short stories. I really loved his writing style. It reminded me of James Cain, who is very high on my list of favorite authors.
